Beninese phone number updater
By Davy AGONMA — Freelance web developer & AI integrator
Problem
Benin's move to ten-digit numbering made entire address books unusable: mixed formats, missing prefixes, duplicates, and a line-by-line clean-up job.
Solution
A Streamlit app that ingests a CSV file, detects formats, normalises and updates numbers automatically, then returns a clean file ready to re-import.
Outcome
A free public tool, usable online with no install, replacing hours of manual correction with one import and one export.

Automation & AI: lessons from this kind of project
AI projects here include support agents, CRM enrichment, lead qualification and automated editorial pipelines with human validation. The point isn't to automate at all costs, but to remove repetitive work while keeping traceability and guardrails.
This case details the stack (LLM APIs, n8n orchestration, databases) and the operational outcomes. A useful benchmark if you're assessing an internal automation project.
