Selliow — multi-vendor marketplace with escrow
By Davy AGONMA — Freelance web developer & AI integrator
Problem
In Benin, online selling happens mostly through WhatsApp and stories: visibility limited to personal contacts, no management tools for sellers, and no protection for buyers against scams and failed deliveries.
Solution
A multi-vendor marketplace with escrow: the platform holds payment until delivery is confirmed. I build the Laravel backend — shops, catalogue, orders, payments, deliveries and disputes — consumed by a Next.js front end.
Outcome
A working MVP covering shops, products, ordering, payment and delivery. Next up: a private beta with a pilot group, then public launch.

Web & SaaS project: technical and business stakes
The web and SaaS projects in this portfolio show how to move from a slow site or a patched-together MVP to a maintainable architecture: auth, payments, dashboards and continuous deployment. Conversion and scalability come first, without runaway technical debt.
If you're planning a rebuild, a client portal or a marketplace, this project illustrates the method: metric scoping, short iterations, product instrumentation and perceived performance work.
